Project Background

Modular Facility Solution
The modular compound was planned around two connected functions. The administration zone included project offices, a coordination room, meeting space, document storage and welfare facilities. The residential zone provided compact bedrooms, sanitary facilities, a dining and break room, laundry space and shaded outdoor circulation. Separating office traffic from residential circulation helped support both daytime operations and rest periods.
Climate-Responsive Engineering
The proposed buildings used insulated wall and roof panels, reflective roof finishes, shaded entrances and appropriately sized air-conditioning systems. Raised foundations and sealed external joints helped reduce dust entry, while covered walkways improved movement between buildings during intense sun. Service access around the modules was retained for inspection and maintenance of HVAC and utility connections.
Manufacturing, Transport and Installation
Structural frames, interior finishes and major electrical and plumbing components were prepared in the factory before transport. Standardized module dimensions supported road delivery to the Duqm area and allowed installation in phases as the prepared gravel platforms became available. Mobile-crane placement and preplanned connection points reduced the amount of work required at the remote site.

The modular approach provided a flexible base that could expand with the pipeline schedule and later be relocated or reconfigured.
